The SOLE Defined premiere excites the senses in a rhythmic performance that has been called "truly amazing!" This is not your ordinary tap show. SOLE Defined made its United States debut in March of 2012, at the Intersections: A New America Arts Festival and The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, DC. Prior to landing in Washington DC, the show made stops in Lima, Peru, in collaboration with the United States Embassy of Peru as well as colleges throughout the United States. The creators titled this project SOLE Defined due to constant inquiries about the origin and definition of the art form. The influences of tap come from different environments and styles of music. It's a self-expression through our SOLE. SOLE Defined audiences can expect an exciting, and uniquely rhythmic performance that is sure to be outside of the box for a tap show.

SOLE Defined premieres in Baltimore at the Creative Alliance on Fri Nov 16, 8:00pm. $17, $12 mbrs. Tix at http://www.creativealliance.org/events/2012/sole-defined

Creative Alliance is Baltimore's premier multi-genre arts center, presenting over 200 events a year in film, music, workshops, and visual art in its theater, art galleries, bar/restaurant, classrooms, and live/work spaces for artists.
