Artists to Participate in the Programming and Promotion of the UWF, which is Revolutionizing Sports Entertainment Through it’s Combination of Urban Music & Professional Wrestling

The Urban Wrestling Federation announced today that they have reached agreement with the ‘Carol City Cartel,’ aka Triple C’s, who record under the Maybach Music Group imprint, founded by best-selling hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Rick Ross.

To further develop their exploding roster of talent, the UWF has turned to artists coming from one of the most influential groups in urban music. The Triple C’s (Gun Play, Torch, Young Breed) have been tapped to be utilized in the programming, characterization, and promotion of future UWF battles including the next arena filming, which will take place in Miami this Fall.

Additionally, plans are in the works for a UWF promotional mix tape to be released in the near future; where artists from the Maybach Music Group’s Carol City Cartel will make significant contributions. In addition to the promotional mix tape, these tracks will be used for entrances during UWF matches, pay-per-view presentations and other promotional events.

The Triple C’s of the Maybach Music group will be joining the list of artists already involved with the UWF, including 40 Glocc, Melle Mel, Red Café, Big Block, Uncle Murda, Brisco, Billy Blue, L.E.P. Bogus Boys and Cuban Link. The UWF continues to be in negotiations with Maybach music for involvement of additional artists with the UWF.

Last week, UWF Founder and CEO Steve Karel, aka ‘Steve The Hustler,’ was seen shooting footage of the Triple C’s in Miami’s South Beach, which will be used for the next UWF broadcast event, as well as in a promo video to be distributed via as well as other online platforms later this month.

“We’re thrilled to have the Carol City Cartel artists, Gun Play, Torch and Young Breed of the Maybach Music Group involved in the Urban Wrestling Federation,” said UWF President Steve Karel. “As we continue to grow the federation, more and more top-level talent are coming to the table realizing that the ring is the newest place for artists to gain exposure and prove that they’ve got what it takes to hold their own and prove domination.”

The Urban Wrestling Federation, which debuted earlier this summer with “First Blood,” a dynamic and exhilarating performance that combined the worlds of hip-hop music and professional wrestling was created by television and live events veteran, Steve Karel. The inaugural battle was filmed live at New York’s famed Hammerstein Ballroom on June 3rd, as well as various other locations around the country, and was viewed by thousands as part of 100+ showings on top pay-per-view platforms.

The UWF has raised the action bar of professional wrestling to a never before seen level of entertainment. ‘First Blood,’ was shown on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network and TVN Ent. Full schedules, additional content, branded clothing and products can be seen at
